Alexander "Bunny" Bunsun is that Bear. Something's not right with his cousin Chloe, and he's come to Halle, PA, to find out what. Until an enticing scent lures him into the local tattoo shop. There she is. An inked, Southern-drawled she-Wolf with lime-green hair. His perfect mate. Tabitha Garwood's rotten day just got worse. Her Outcast status makes her a target for harassment with alarming regularity. And now, in the middle of a root touch-up, looking like a half-melted Skittle, she's met her destined mate. The only upside? She finally has a protector in the form of a huge, tattooed, shaved-head Bear who vibrates with carefully restrained power. When Chloe is left for dead and Tabby is threatened, only Alex can keep his growing family safe.
Bear Necessities is seriously a steamy, funny, hot read that kept me giggling throughout the storyline. Alex is a bear and is nicknamed bunny which gets him lots of crap from the other shifters even if he looks nothing like a bunny. However, Alex has anger issues and spend his free time doing yoga and other exercise to keep a tight leash on his emotions to make sure he never hurts someone. While looking for his cousin Bunny smells his mate and goes in to find her only to get kicked out because she's getting her hair done. Tabby is a wolf shifter who got kicked out of her pack and has only just come back to civilization. Tabby is a great character who is lots of fun and Bear Necessities is one of those shifter books that knows when another shifter had met his or her mate their's no playing around about the idea unless he or she is human and doesn't know about shifters.
